For the 10th edition of Buffer Fringe festival, we examined the materiality of spatial and social connectivity, underscoring the paradoxes of existence suspended between socio-political discourse and artistic freedom. We question and reconsider the very essence of boundaries and observe current social praxis in the geographical space of the division of Nicosia, which has the ability to approximate alternative arrangements of collective perception The curatorial vision aimed to break free from the entanglements and confines of structural dichotomies that separate the observer from the observed. It encourages a state of indulgence, where bodies transform into experiences shaped by subjective perspectives, enriching the collective endeavor. It extends an invitation to interrogate temporalities as states of existence, to dive into a realm that can reveal the multi-dimensional confluences that shape our perceptions.
